Finally I had the pleasure to experience a long time favorite blues singer, Mr. Terry Evans.
Terry Evans has been special to me for many years, I guess close to 22 years. I have been following him since then, and a lot of his work is very important to my blues heart. Especially songs like "Rooftop Tomcat" "Down In Mississippi", "Big Bad Daddy Good" and many more, but also not to forget all the great songs that he has recorded with Hans Theessink, like "Vicksburg Is My Home", "Don't Let The Green Grass Fool You" etc. etc.
It was a great pleasure to actually be witness to some of these songs live. Mr. Terry Evans is around 77 years young, and he still has a voice that simply blows me away. I was also very impressed with his charm and charisma on stage, and I really felt that he is a kind an generous person on top.
This was a special evening for me, and I would have loved to sit in at one of the other concerts that these 2 great musicians are about to do in Denmark, sadly they seem to be sold out.
I made a few recordings from this special evening, so please have a look below.
